what a pick is

the loom reads both caps every block on both chains.

if the tension has been outside the band for two consecutive reads, a pick is due.

the high side sells from its bobbin into its own curve, sized so that side's cap lands on the mean of the two caps.

the low side buys from its bobbin's native balance, sized so that side's cap lands on the same mean.

a pick never sells more than the pick cap, which is a fixed share of the high side's bobbin.

two picks are never closer together than the cooldown.

each pick is two transactions, one per chain, recorded here with both hashes.

high side, sell: x' = sqrt(k / p*) sell_tokens = x' - x proceeds_native = y - k / x' low side, buy: y' = sqrt(k * p*) spend_native = y' - y bought_tokens = x - k / y' caps: sell_tokens <= bobbin_tokens_high * pick_max_bps / 10000 spend_native <= bobbin_native_low if either cap binds, both legs are scaled by the same ratio so the pick stays symmetric
